What You'll Need
Before getting started, make sure you have the following ready:
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick (any generation)
- A valid IPTV subscription with an M3U URL or Xtream Codes login
- A stable Wi-Fi connection (minimum 10 Mbps recommended)
- An IPTV player app — this guide uses IPTV Smarters Pro

Step 1: Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
Since IPTV Smarters Pro may not always appear in the Amazon Appstore in all regions, you may need to enable sideloading:
- From your Fire TV home screen, go to Settings.
- Select My Fire TV (or Device on older models).
- Tap Developer Options.
- Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
This allows you to install apps that aren't listed in the Amazon Appstore.
Step 2: Install the Downloader App
The Downloader app is a free tool available directly in the Amazon Appstore that lets you download APK files to your Fire Stick.
- From the home screen, use the search icon and search for "Downloader".
- Select the Downloader app by AFTVnews and click Download.
- Once installed, open the app and accept the permissions.
Step 3: Install IPTV Smarters Pro
- Open the Downloader app.
- In the URL field, type the web address for the IPTV Smarters Pro APK. You can find the official download link on the IPTV Smarters website.
- Press Go and wait for the APK to download.
- When prompted, tap Install.
- After installation, you can delete the APK file to free up storage space.
Alternatively, search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" directly in the Amazon Appstore — it is available in many regions without sideloading.
Step 4: Add Your IPTV Subscription
Once IPTV Smarters Pro is installed and open:
- Select Add New User on the login screen.
- Choose your login method:
- Xtream Codes API — enter your server URL, username, and password provided by your IPTV service.
- M3U URL — paste the M3U playlist link provided by your IPTV provider.
- Enter a profile name and tap Add User.
- The app will load your channel list, EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), and VOD library.
Step 5: Navigating IPTV Smarters Pro
Once your playlist has loaded, you'll see several sections:
- Live TV: Browse and watch live channels organised by category.
- Movies: On-demand films from your provider's VOD library.
- Series: TV series available on demand.
- EPG: An on-screen programme guide showing what's currently airing.
